Job Description:
The University of Pittsburgh Physicians Department of Pathology
is recruiting 2 community Pathologists for their hospital in
Altoona, PA. Fellowship training in Cytopathology preferred, but
not required. Must be AP/CP ABMS Board Certified or Board Eligible.
Position Highlights UPMC Altoona has a surgical pathology volume of
over 13,000 Surgical cases and 3,000 non-gynecological
cytopathology Specimens. Join a team of 2 pathologists Specialty
pathology consultations and services are available from academic
core pathology services at UPMC in Pittsburgh. Night and weekend
call are equally shared Specialty pathology services provide
expertise in all areas necessary, as well as sophisticated services
in immunohistochemistry, imaging and molecular Anatomic pathology.
