The successful candidate will teach organic chemistry lecture and labs, as well as other chemistry courses as needed by the department.The home campus for this position is CU-Lock Haven (potentially one day per week at Bloomsburg, depending on needs) with the expectation of serving a multi-campus University within the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.About the Department:The Department of Physical and Environment Sciences features approximately 50 faculty that teach in the areas of biochemistry and chemistry, physics and engineering, and environmental sciences. Our Chemistry programing is approved by the American Chemical Society (ACS), and the Pre-Medicine and Biochemistry tracks are accredited by the American Society of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology (ASBMB). The department promotes hands-on laboratory experiences, so students are prepared for various post-graduate career trajectories. The College offers many nationally accredited and regionally distinct programs.
