Regional Sales Manager for the Mid-west regions of the U.S. &
Canada. The Mid-West and Canada Salesperson will play a key role in
executing the commercial strategy, driving growth in existing
markets, and identifying new business opportunities. Will work
closely with the VP of Commercial, other Territory Salesperson,
Business Development Manager, Purchased Products Manager, and the
Inside Sales team. Individual will be responsible for Manager, and
the Inside Sales team. Individual will be responsible for managing
customer relationships, developing sales strategies, and expanding
Wieland Concast's presence with the Mid-West and Canada. This
position requires travel and engagement with customers across the
country.
Responsibilities
Regional Sales Manager Responsibilities:
- Sales Management: Lead sales activities for mill products across the assigned territory, ensuring customer satisfaction and business growth.
- Sales Strategy Development: Partner with the management team to develop and implement ales strategies that align with company objectives and market trends.
- Customer Relationship Management: Regularly visit customers to maintain strong relationships, resolve open issues, and identify new business opportunities.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, providing actionable insights to shape sales strategies.
- Market Reports: Prepare necessary customer and market reports on a timely basis.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and terms with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with company goals.
- Event Participation: Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to promote products, network with potential customers, and stay current on market trends.
- Travel: Extensive travel for meetings with customers and
prospects, industry events, etc., to support company sales
initiatives.
Regional Sales Manager Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field. A strong technical sales background is preferred.
- 10+ years of proven experience in sales management, ideally within the metals or manufacturing industries.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational kills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part
of a team.
