SUMMARY: Assists with management of the operations and activities
of the store and staff; works closely with store manager in making
decisions that contribute to the store’s success. DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises sales floor, providing high-quality
customer service and maintaining merchandising and cleanliness
standards. Ensures inventory, and shrink goals are achieved.
Ensures that staff is fully trained and has a full knowledge of all
products Ensures sales floor is fully stocked and that merchandise
and visual standards are being upheld. Works with store manager to
develop creative plans to increase store sales. Maintains a high
level of customer service by ensuring that merchandising/recovery
is completed and that register and customer service area is
processing customers in a timely manner. Trains, supervises,
motivates, and develops staff. Assigns duties and monitors quality
of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and
procedures. Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of
subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance.
Supervises the unloading of trucks, sorting of merchandise,
stocking shelves, ticketing merchandise, and the reconciliation of
all cash and inventory transactions. Prepares all required reports
and paperwork. Performs other related duties as assigned by
management. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises 6
employees within the store. Carries out supervisory
responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and
applicable laws. QUALIFICATIONS: Two to four years related
experience or equivalent preferred. Knowledge of retail operations
and shrink reduction plans. Demonstrated proficiency in supervising
and motivating subordinates Commitment to excellence and high

and demeanor Ability to effectively communicate with people at all
