Work Days and Expected Hours:
Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
(Additional hours as necessary to meet the objectives of the department).
Function: Develops and interprets data analysis to gain insights, identify trends, and assist with decision-making for Compliance Risk Management. Designs and maintains data visualization dashboards for management reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains knowledge and understanding of all federal and state consumer protection laws, regulations and guidance that apply to S&T's business operations.

  • Works with cross-divisional partners, including technology and business line partners through all aspects of strategic builds of critical compliance program data elements

  • Assists with the implementation and administration of the Bank's GRC system (Governance, Risk and Compliance).

  • Builds databases, dashboards, and tools on a diverse set of topics with a focus on promoting automation and scaling, and providing easily understood reports

  • Improves the analysis of quantitative data sets to uncover insights on topics such as emerging risks, control design and effectiveness, risk tolerance performance, key performance indicators, and key risk indicators.

  • Works with compliance, enterprise risk management, and the business lines to identify issues and develop compelling, data-driven recommendations.

  • Assists in developing and maintaining working relationships with Business Unit Compliance Analysts, Business Unit Managers, and staff to ensure that compliance requirements are incorporated into business processes of the first line of defense.

  • Assists with the Consumer Complaints Management Program by identifying potential trends.

  • Demonstrates a strong ability to work independently and as a team player; exhibits excellent interpersonal skills to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization.

  • Maintains a good working relationship with all S&T employees and adheres to S&T's Cultributes. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

    Physical Demands
    75% of the day is spent operating a keypad device. The primary parts of the body involved in performing these tasks are fingers, thumbs and hands. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. Use of electronic equipment is required 10% and use of a mouse 20% of the business day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18"-20" for computer work. 90% of the business day requires sitting straight and 10% walking at a slow speed.           • Bachelors or better in Business Administration


            • 2-5 years: Requires two to five years general business experience with two to five years of data analyst experience in a business environment.
