Core Banking Platform

finova's Core Banking Platform includes the UK market-leading cloud-based origination software and integrated in-life servicing software. The platform supports mortgages, equity release, specialist lending, and savings. Over -75 billion has been originated through the system by our customers and over -27 billion of loans and savings are managed through the servicing platform.

The platform is designed for fast implementation and facilitates day-to-day banking operations. Senior Business Analyst

About you:

You will be a technical expert for finova and you will feel comfortable collaborating with other members of the team and wider Group. You will be happy to work directly with clients and your communication skills will support this.

Intelligence - rapidly understand our client's business, accurately capture what they need, and resolve challenges and issues.

Technology - an understanding of technology design, delivery, and deployment of a software package. You will require an aptitude for SQL, Microsoft Excel, and similar tools.
Delivery Lifecycle - the experience of key phases of an end-to-end delivery lifecycle. You will need to:
Rapidly understand client needs; translate this into system requirements and configuration; go on to build our system configuration.
Develop test scripts and data from client needs; support execution of component, system integration, and user acceptance test.

Have a depth and breadth of experience across a variety of roles and several companies.
Industry acumen - an understanding of Mortgages, Equity Release, Savings, and Commercial Lending products and processes.

What you will be doing:

As a Senior Business Analyst, your mission is to collaborate with the client through the project lifecycle in cross-functional teams. This involves clearly articulating the features and benefits of our product.
Your role is to work with the client to identify, understand and define the business requirements thorough client workshops and discussion.

Facilitate the delivery of process, product and business-focused system configuration changes, through change management processes.
Advising the client on software and process changes required to deliver business outcomes.
Designing, building, documenting, and testing the product configuration
Analysing, triaging issues and problem-solving.
Supporting the client through training and model office activities.

Working with the client through delivery, testing, go-live, warranty, and support project phases.
Internally, our roles are aligned across the Group to ensure consistency and to make sure everyone is clear of their role, responsibilities and career progression.
Alongside your client-facing role:
You will play an active part in developing the efficiency and effectiveness of our business by improving our delivery processes, training, and knowledge using the latest industry tools and techniques.
You will use your experience and knowledge to help mentor other Business Analysts.
