JOB DESCRIPTION We're looking for a full-time or part- time kitchen assistant who takes pride in helping to create authentic Italian attractive and delicious dishes. The ideal candidate will have kitchen experience, can work in a fast-paced kitchen, and have a positive attitude. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Some of your duties may include: Prepare, design, create and decorate cakes and cupcakes according to client and company specifications using decorating techniques with frosting, sugar, and other edible materials. Ensure that available inventory meets business needs Evaluate and test new cake decorating techniques and ingredients Bake cake and cupcakes Provide high quality customer service and consult with customers regarding icing techniques and cake design Evaluate market trends and target offerings accordingly Develop new cake decorating techniques Maintain a clean work area and wash baking and decorating tools Assist with other duties as assigned You'll need to be able to: Lift up to 50lbs Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach Maintain a high level of organization with a strong attention to detail and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Requirements: Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines. Verifiable experience decorating cakes and cupcakes Schedule: We can offer a flexible schedule to provide work-life balance if the schedule meets the business needs. This position will require weekend work.
