Job Description Job Description Heeter is hiring for a 2nd shift (3 pm – 11 pm) Digital Press Operator to run the Digital Printing presses - Ricoh VC70000, Ricoh 9210 and Ricoh Z75 - the most technically advanced machines in the Printing Industry. The Digital Print department is a very fast-paced machine and requires candidates with a high energy level. Heeter Printing is a top 100 Employer in Pittsburgh. SPECIFIC DUTIES: - Set up and operate the digital press to job specifications, with a critical eye for detail and accuracy - Follow standardized work process and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment - Effectively carry out assigned tasks throughout the shift - Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace - Performs other duties requested by supervisor and/or management SPECIFIC DUTIES: - Set up and operate the digital press to job specifications, with a critical eye for detail and accuracy - Follow standardized work process and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment - Effectively carry out assigned tasks and support all areas of the production environment, including digital bindery if needed - Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace - Performs other duties requested by supervisor and/or management KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: - Mechanically inclined with previous experience running inserting machines - Demonstrated work ethic with the ability to work quickly and efficiently managing a very fast paced machine environment - Ability to work well in a group or individually ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
