What You ll Do

• Provide emergency medicine physician coverage for ED patients during scheduled shifts
• Collaborate with APP support and established nursing staffing to manage patient flow
• Evaluate and treat a wide range of emergency presentations based on department needs
• Support triage and ongoing ED care alongside RN staffing
• Follow facility protocols for escalation, stabilization, and appropriate transfers when needed
• Participate in smooth handoffs and continuity of care throughout your shift

What You Need
Required

• Active PA license
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Ability to provide coverage for the listed shift dates/times

Preferred

• Clean malpractice history / no NPDB concerns (preference noted)

About the Assignment
This is ED coverage at a leading facility in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania with a provider staffing model that includes physician coverage (6A 6P and 6P 6A) plus an APP (11A 9P daily) and nursing staffing that includes two RNs around the clock and a triage RN mid-day, supported by additional nursing leadership and respiratory staff. L&D is not routinely included; if the situation arises, you will stabilize and transfer when stable.
