registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years Stepdown RN
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Provide specialized nursing
care in a step-down unit supporting patients transitioning from
intensive care to lower acuity levels. This contract role offers an
opportunity to work in a technologically advanced tertiary care
regional referral hospital known for clinical excellence and
nationally recognized patient outcomes. Responsibilities: Monitor
and assess patient condition changes and communicate with the
healthcare team Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement
patient care plans Educate patients and families regarding care and
discharge instructions Maintain accurate documentation and ensure
compliance with hospital policies Qualifications: Current
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Pennsylvania Experience in
step-down or progressive care nursing preferred Ability to complete
all required Pennsylvania clearances including child abuse, state
police, and FBI fingerprinting Strong clinical assessment and
critical thinking skills Effective communication and teamwork
abilities Location:Position is based in Ebensburg, PA, with local
orientation conducted weekly on Mondays in Johnstown, PA. The
