team in Bridgeport, WV, providing expert care in a Stepdown/Med
Surg unit. This 13-week contract opportunity focuses on delivering
specialized nursing care to patients with respiratory issues,
weakness, UTIs, AKI, and chest pain. Care for patients in a 20-bed
unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3 in Stepdown and 1:5-6 on
the floor, supported by experienced nurse aides and respiratory
therapists. Qualifications & Experience: - Registered Nurse with
Stepdown unit experience - Current BLS and ACLS certifications
required - Ability to titrate drips, including Heparin, insulin,
Cardizem, and amiodarone - Comfortable working with ventilator
equipment such as CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen - Familiarity
with tele-monitoring; RNs are responsible for reading cardiac

charge nurse and house supervisor duties as required - Adhere to
unit-specific protocols and dress code (royal blue scrubs) -
Participate in a structured unit orientation program Schedule: -
12-hour shifts - Rotate holiday coverage (day and evening shifts) -
Weekend requirement: 3 shifts every 4 weeks - No call or standby
duties - No floating to other units This contract role is ideal for
