registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years Stepdown RN
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Deliver specialized nursing
care in a vibrant Stepdown/Med Surg unit located in Clarksburg, WV.
This 13-week contract opportunity offers a chance to work with a
dedicated healthcare team providing excellent patient outcomes in a
dynamic hospital setting. Key Responsibilities: - Provide nursing
care to patients in a stepdown and medical-surgical unit, managing
a patient ratio of 1:3 in Stepdown and 1:5-6 on the floor. -
Administer and titrate drips such as Heparin, insulin, Cardizem,
and amiodarone. - Utilize critical care equipment including CPAP,
BiPAP, and high flow respiratory support devices. - Monitor patient
telemetry and interpret cardiac strips to ensure timely
interventions. - Collaborate with respiratory therapists and
monitor techs within a multidisciplinary team. - Adhere to unit
dress code standards with royal blue scrubs. - Fulfill scheduling
responsibilities including 12-hour shifts, three weekend shifts
every four weeks, and rotating holiday shifts. - Participate in
unit-specific orientation to ensure smooth integration into the
care team. Qualifications and Experience: - Active RN license with
current BLS and ACLS certifications. - Proven experience in
Stepdown nursing, including managing complex patient care
scenarios. - Ability to titrate intravenous drips confidently and
manage high-acuity patients. - Experience working with respiratory
support equipment. - Capability to work 12-hour shifts and meet
weekend and holiday scheduling requirements. Location
