Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Progressive Care Stepdown position in Pennsylvania working night shifts with specialized clearance and fingerprinting requirements. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a hospital-based Progressive Care Stepdown Transitional unit - Patient population includes Med/Surg and stepdown level care - Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM - 13-week contract assignment - Weekly orientation sessions held on Mondays - Serve a diverse Med/Surg and progressive care patient population - Work in a technologically advanced regional referral hospital environment - Testing and fingerprinting must be completed prior to starting the assignment - First-time travelers considered /n /n Requirements/n - Active PA or compact RN license - Minimum of 2 years RN experience - All required PA clearances: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Clearance (PATCH), and Department of Human Services and FBI fingerprinting - Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration - COVID vaccination card required - RQI certifications are not accepted - Cannot be employed full time at another facility - Candidate must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel assignment - Not eligible if employed as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-670133.
