Radiology Tech Location: State College, PA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,760 to $1,920 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $44.00 - 448.00/Hourly. Summary: Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures and respond to patient questions. Perform diagnostic procedures for patients as ordered by physicians. Responsibilities: Performs patient care/technical duties and procedures in an accurate and timely fashion.Greets each patient in a pleasant manner. Reviews requests and evaluates order for appropriate exam and diagnosis. Explains the procedure in terms that the patient understands. Contacts the appropriate individuals for proper scheduling/orders: doctor’s offices and/or nurses. Prepares and positions patients for examinations. Determines and uses proper technique to position patient for view/examination. Demonstrates the ability to operate CR, Fluoro and DR rooms safely and efficiently. Performs proper start up and shut down of equipment. Requirements Requirements: One year of experience preferred performing radiological procedures in a hospital, clinic or physician’s office.
