Job Opportunity – Med/Surg Telemetry RN – West Virginia Start Date: March 9, 2026 Location: Morgantown, West Virginia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM; 3x12 or 4x12 shifts per week, including 3 weekend shifts per 4-week period Highlights: 34-bed medical/surgical unit with telemetry capabilities Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–7 13-week contract with possible extension EMR system: Cerner 12 hours of orientation provided Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams Requirements: Active RN license (West Virginia or Compact; pending license acceptable) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Current certifications: BLS (required), ACLS (required), NIH Stroke Scale (required) – BLS and ACLS must be from American Heart Association Experience with telemetry, remote monitoring, and managing acutely ill medical patients Proficiency in Cerner EMR preferred Must reside more than 100 miles from facility (75–100 miles considered case-by-case) Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required Reliable attendance is essential – facility expects minimal call-offs during contract period Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced medical/surgical environment.
