Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Morgantown, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,876 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night/Day Alternating Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 2 Years License: Registered Nurse License (WV or Compact License - Pending License Acceptable) Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH Must-Have: - Experience in direct fresh open-heart admissions from the OR - Experience with pressure monitoring and Swan-Ganz management - Experience with Impella monitoring and CRRT Description: The CVICU Registered Nurse will provide care for patients in the Cardiac Care Unit. The position requires alternating shifts of 3x12 hours for days and nights. The RN will be responsible for a patient ratio of 1:2, based on acuity. The role involves caring for cardiothoracic surgery patients, including CABGs and open valve replacements. Candidates must have experience with direct open-heart admissions from the OR. The position requires skills in cardiac surgery, Swan-Ganz management, Impella monitoring, and CRRT. Candidates should be proficient in managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure. Travel experience is preferred but not required. Required certifications must be verified and will be submitted post-interview. This position may involve floating as needed to a Medical ICU or Step Down Unit. Candidates must be flexible and able to work weekdays and weekends. No supervisory experience is necessary for this role. Candidates must provide verifiable references from previous managers or charge nurses. The position requires adherence to all health and safety regulations and infection prevention protocols.
