Job Description:
Allegheny Veterinary Associates is seeking an experienced
Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team! This is an
excellent opportunity for a skilled technician eager to fully
utilize their surgical, anesthesia, and dental expertise while
making a meaningful impact on patient care. We're especially
seeking someone passionate about dentistry who is equally
enthusiastic about supporting surgical cases and helping us deliver
exceptional care across both areas. In this role, you will: Provide
exceptional patient care during surgical and dental procedures,
including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery. Ensure
an efficient surgical and procedural workflow, anticipating the
needs of the veterinary team and patients. Communicate with clients
to review treatment plans, answer questions, and provide discharge
instructions with empathy and clarity. Schedule: This is a
full-time position, with a 5/8 schedule and availability needed
Monday-Friday. NO WEEKENDS! Full-time benefits and compensation:
Compensation: $22 - 26 per hour, for each hour worked* Bonus
package: $2000 based on credentials CE allowance: up to $1,000

skill set: 3 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Pennsylvania
is REQUIRED Proficiency in the following skills: Surgical Caseload
Management Anesthesia Induction and Maintenance Surgical Assisting
Phlebotomy and IV placement Inpatient Care We are an adaptable,
