Registered Nurse (RN) | Rehab Location: Morgantown, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,218 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Rehab RN in Morgantown, West Virginia, 26506! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Inpatient Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of bedside nursing experience License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have Skills: - Experience with stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, spinal surgeries, and amputees - Ability to attend team conferences for acute inpatient rehabilitation - Willingness to work with physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and neuropsychology Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The unit has a capacity of 10 beds, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 to 5. Nursing staff will not titrate drips and will not read telemetry strips. Charge nurses will have patient assignments. Nurse aides are available intermittently, with a ratio of 1 aide to 8-10 patients. Required equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, transfer equipment, tracheostomy tubes, nasal cannulas, PEG and Mickey buttons, and NG tubes. Nursing staff will not have self-scheduling options but may submit shift requests. Rotating weekends and holidays will be required, with a commitment of 4 weekend shifts per month. There are no call or standby requirements associated with this position. Staff may be floated to other acute floors if necessary. The dress code for the unit is royal blue scrubs.
