Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Wheeling, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,218 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Wheeling, West Virginia, 26003! Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Unexpired Driver's License Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS Must-Have: - Ability to work with patient ratios of 1:6/7 - Experience with common diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, cellulitis, and pneumonia - Comfort with titrating heparin drips based on APTT results Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical care. The unit consists of 30 beds. Patient ratios are typically 1:6, but may increase to 1:7. Nurse aides are available to assist on the unit. The registered nurse will not be required to manage ventilators but may encounter intermittent BIPAP. Telemetry services are available and monitored remotely. Weekend and holiday scheduling will occur as needed. Floating may be required based on patient census. The nurse will work primarily in navy blue scrubs. Charting will be conducted using the EPIC system. This position does not require a BSN. No trauma level designation specified for this role.
