Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare
services, is seeking a dedicated Rehab Nursing Tech to join our
team. This role is critical in providing direct patient care under
the supervision of registered nurses in our inpatient
rehabilitation facilities. Successful candidates will aid in the
rehabilitation process, helping patients regain independence and
return to their daily lives. This position demands a compassionate
individual with a strong commitment to recovery and
patient-centered care. Assist nursing staff with clinical duties
and patient care activities. Monitor patient health status and
report any changes to the supervising nurse. Help patients with
daily activities such as dressing, grooming, and eating. Support
rehabilitation exercises under the guidance of therapists. Maintain
accurate patient records and charting. Ensure the cleanliness and
safety of the patient environment. Educate patients and families on
health care and recovery techniques. Excellent patient care and
interpersonal skills. Ability to follow strict protocols and
procedures. Strong observational and reporting abilities. Knowledge
of basic healthcare and hygiene standards. Physical stamina and the
ability to assist patients physically. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
