As a Student Respiratory Care Assistant, you'll support the
Respiratory Therapy team and gain valuable exposure to clinical
workflows and equipment handling. Under the direction of licensed
respiratory therapists, your responsibilities will include:
Assembling, transporting, disinfecting, and troubleshooting
respiratory equipment. Managing oxygen supplies and delivering home
care respiratory equipment. Supporting bronchoscopy and intubation
procedures. Assisting with setup and documentation of 4-channel
sleep studies. Performing smoking cessation counseling per
department policy. Maintaining respiratory equipment inventory and
assisting in calibration and preventive maintenance. Using
electronic systems for ordering, documentation, and reporting. This

your future career! High school diploma or equivalent. Current
enrollment in a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program .
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle equipment up to 100
pounds. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Act 34 clearance
required upon hire.
