Registered Nurse (RN) | Urology Location: State College, PA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,266 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 7 Weeks Start Date: 2/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Clinic, Cardiology, Urology RN Duration: 7 Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 0 years minimum, one year preferred License: Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license Certifications: Meets the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years Must-Have: - Knowledge of practical nursing principles and skills needed to provide quality patient care. - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. - Ability to react calmly and effectively during emergency situations. Description: Provide professional nursing care to patients following established standards, practices, and healthcare techniques. Demonstrate competence in making professional judgments pertaining to patient care. Assist providers in patient care and education. Actively participate as a member of the healthcare team to engage patients, families, and caregivers in the coordination of patient care. Knowledge of examination, diagnostic and treatment procedures, medication effects on patients, and patient education principles is required. Have awareness of common safety hazards and precautions. Familiarity with office procedures and medical terminology is necessary. Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines is preferred. Must be able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions of the physician. Identify and analyze problems, prioritize and make confident quick decisions, and recommend effective solutions. Ability to administer a variety of medications and treatments. Utilize various types of equipment for examination and treatment procedures. Working conditions may be fast-paced, stressful, and in high traffic environments. May be exposed to communicable diseases, toxic substances, medicinal preparations, bodily fluids, and other conditions common to a clinic environment. May require travel to other offices and working irregular hours. Physical demands require full range body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and hand-eye coordination. May require sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time. Occasional lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 pounds is necessary.
