Therapist for the Mon Valley and the surrounding areas Are you a

Responsibilities: - The Therapy Team Leader is responsible for
overseeing and supporting daily therapy operations, including
patient visits, staffing coordination, referral oversight, and
acting as a clinical resource. This role also involves supervisory
duties such as joint visits, documentation reviews, equipment
oversight, orientation, and participation in meetings to ensure
high-quality therapy services and operational efficiency. - The
Therapy Team Leader position is unique in its blended focus on both
clinical leadership and operational coordination. This role not
only involves hands-on patient care, therapist supervision, and
cross-disciplinary collaboration, but also empowers the leader to
impact patient outcomes through appropriate visit and resource
utilization directly. By understanding the key factors that drive
clinical outcomes, the Therapy Team Leader works closely with the
Therapy Coordinator to guide and inspire their therapy peers in
optimizing care delivery, ensuring services are efficient and
effective while maintaining high standards across multiple settings
and teams. - Focuses on customer service and continually strives to
perform the duties of their job in a manner that will result in
optimal patient satisfaction. - Continually develop professional
skills by assuming responsibility for ongoing continuing education.
- Evaluates, plans, and treats patients in an effective Physical
Therapy Program, including the use of modalities and assistive
devices within the Standards of Physical Therapy Practice. -
Identifies, develops, and participates in process improvement
opportunities within the Agency’s Home Health or Early Intervention
programs that will enhance the quality of services we provide. -
Assigns and supervises the Certified Physical Therapy Assistant, if
applicable. - Attend compliance training and adhere to the
organization’s standards of conduct, policies, and procedures. -
Performs duties and job responsibilities in a fashion that
coincides with the service management philosophy of UPMC toward
patients, visitors, staff, peers, physicians, and other departments
within the organization. - Maintains and completes all required
documentation, orders, and Point of Care or written, promptly and
accurately within Agency and regulatory standards. Data syncs
(transmits) information on the same day, if applicable. - Advises
and consults with the family, inter-intradisciplinary team members,
physicians, and other professionals, as appropriate, to ensure
optimal patient care. - Provide physical therapy services and
participate in the development of a physical therapy plan of
treatment, including modalities, frequency, and treatment in
collaboration with the referring physician for patients from birth
to geriatrics to assist patients in obtaining maximum functional
independence within the standards of physical therapy. Graduate of
a Physical Therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee
on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American
Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association;
or Is eligible for the National Registration Examination of the
American Physical Therapy Association; or Two (2) years of
appropriate experience as a physical therapist, and has achieved a
satisfactory grade on a proficiency examination conducted,
approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service, except
that such determinations of proficiency do not apply with respect
to persons initially licensed by a State or seeking initial
qualification as a physical therapist after December 31, 1977
required. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: CPR required
based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills
demonstration component within 30 days of hire - Automotive
Insurance - Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary
Resuscitation (CPR) - Driver’s License - Physical Therapist (PT)
