Key Job Details – CVOR RN Travel Assignment - Assignment Type: Travel nursing job - Location: Greensburg, Pennsylvania 15601 - Healthcare Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) - Start Date: December 29, 2025 - End Date: March 30, 2026 - Contract Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: Day shifts, 8 hours (typically 7:00am – 3:00pm; flexibility required) - Hours per Week: 40 - Estimated Weekly Pay: $2400-$2570 - Call: Weekday call 1-2 times per week; weekend call 1-2 times per 6-week schedule - Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics - Unit Size: 10 operating rooms CVOR RN Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR Registered Nurse experience (cardiothoracic nursing required) - Active Pennsylvania RN license or Compact License (required) - BLS certification (American Heart Association) - Previous travel nursing experience - Proficient in circulating CVOR procedures - Willingness to participate in scheduled call rotation - Ability to float to other hospital units as needed - Two supervisor references preferred CVOR RN Responsibilities - Circulate and assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary heart team to deliver high-quality patient care - Prepare and maintain the operating room environment for CVOR cases - Monitor patient status and respond to changes during procedures - Participate in on-call rotation for urgent CVOR cases - Float to other units within the hospital as required - Accurately document patient care and surgical procedures - Support adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients throughout their surgical experience Discover the benefits of travel nursing jobs in Pennsylvania!
