Westmoreland Hospital is seeking an experienced Med-Surg/Telemetry
Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care on a diverse
adult patient population. The RN will work collaboratively with the
interdisciplinary team to manage patients with cardiac, pulmonary,
and general medical conditions in a dynamic hospital setting. Key
Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient
care in a Med-Surg/Telemetry setting. Monitor cardiac rhythms and
respond to telemetry alarms appropriately. Administer medications,
IV therapy, and manage central/peripheral lines. Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, physical
therapy, pharmacy, and others to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Follow hospital protocols for isolation, safety, and emergency
response. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care. Float to
other units as needed based on hospital requirements. Requirements:
Licensure: Active PA RN License (or compact license valid in PA)
Experience: Minimum 2 years Med-Surg/Telemetry RN experience
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Charting System: Not
