Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Compact License or Pending License Acceptable Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures - Hemodynamic Monitoring - Conscious Sedation - Experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Procedures Description: The Cath Lab RN will work four 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The role requires participation in on-call responsibilities, including one weekday and one weekend every four to six weeks, which may include holidays. The RN will assist in both diagnostic and interventional cardiology as well as endovascular peripheral intervention. Required certifications include ACLS and BLS, both from the American Heart Association. Experience with equipment pertinent to cardiac procedures is necessary, including hemodynamic monitoring and the use of various cardiac devices. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency with key skills, such as IV starts, and familiarity with procedural responsibilities like accurate monitoring and equipment setup. Professional knowledge of isolation precautions and rapid response teams is essential. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with travel experience preferred.
