Duration: Long-term Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience: Minimum years of experience in clinical decision-making
for suicidal clients and conducting biopsychosocial assessments of
youth. License: One of the following independent licenses: -
Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) - Licensed Professional
Clinical Counselor (LPCC) - Licensed Independent Marriage and
Family Therapist (IMFT) Certifications: Completion of continuing
professional education for license renewal pursuant to relevant
sections of state code. Must-Have: Experience assessing the risk
for suicide and mental health stability among incarcerated
juveniles. Description: The Behavioral Health Provider operates
under the general supervision of a behavioral health services
supervisor. In this part-time contract role, you will assess the
risk for suicide and mental health stability among incarcerated
juveniles. You will conduct biopsychosocial assessments and updates
for youth involved in legal proceedings and residing in
correctional facilities. Your work will contribute to positive
outcomes and youth well-being within this unique context.
Responsibilities include assessing the risk of suicide and mental
health stability for incarcerated juveniles. You will perform
thorough biopsychosocial assessments for incarcerated youth. You
will make informed clinical decisions related to treatment status
and needs. You will ensure meticulous completion of all necessary
documentation. Collaboration with behavioral health services will
be essential to facilitate seamless service delivery. You may be
required to provide coverage during weekends and holidays as
coordinated with behavioral health services. Unusual working
conditions may include exposure to clients who may be potentially
violent. You may also encounter unusual noise, odors, or contagious
