Job Title : Cath Lab TechLocation: State College, PAJob Type: Contract / TravelShift: 10 hour day shift / 4 shifts per weekStart Date : 16th JuneDuration: [13 weeks]Job DescriptionMount Nittany Health is seeking a qualified and dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Technologist or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) to join our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory team. This is a full-time position with 10-hour shifts and 7 12 days of call per month, including call every 3rd to 4th weekend. A 30-minute response time is required for all call shifts. Holiday call is also a possibility.Key Responsibilities:Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures with professional expertise and minimal supervision.Function in a variety of roles including:Scrub/Assistant in the sterile fieldMonitor Tech in the control roomSecond Circulator during proceduresAssist in patient care during pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases.Operate and maintain a variety of complex equipment including:Hemodynamic monitorsIABP, Impella, pacemakers, and EP devicesMonitor and record patient vitals; manage moderate sedation patients.Participate in patient and staff education to promote cardiac health and wellness.Common Procedures Include:Coronary angiography and interventionsRight and left heart catheterizationTemporary and permanent pacemaker placementNote: RCIS/Tech will not administer medications or blood products.Requirements:Current BLS certificationCurrent ACLS certificationAbility to respond to call within 30 minutesPreferred Qualifications:RCIS credential through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)Previous experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology Lab#AcestackHealthcare1by Jobble
