Job Description:

Coverage Needed

• ASAP - ongoing Schedule
  • Scheduled Clinic Hours, No call
  • Monday through Friday GI Lab hours 8-4
  • Does not need to be full-time, but most weeks are open Clinical Details
    • Practice setting: outpatient
    • Trauma level 1
    • Will need to do outpatient procedures
    • Procedures per day: 13-15 Requirements
      • Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of Residency through the American Board of Internal Medicine, Subspecialty of Gastroenterology
      • Active PA License or IMLC
      • Must be Fellowship Trained in Gastroenterology
      • BLS
      • Required Skills: Upper GI endoscopy (biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), injection of varices, With PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy , Esophageal dilatation/manometry, Esophageal manometry interpretation, Small Bowel biopsy, Lower GI endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy (flexible, rigid), Colonoscopy (biopsy, excision of polyp)
      • Preferred Skills: ERCP (diagnostic, therapeutic), Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), Liver biopsy
      • Procedures required/procedures per day: EGDs, Colonoscopies, EGD with Dilatations, Peg placement and change, All the standard GI procedures
      • Prefer an advanced provider to do ERCP EMR
        • Epic
