Job Title: Locum Physician Job Specialty: Maternal Fetal Medicine Job Duration: 13 months Shift: Varied Office, Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM; Closed Friday; On-Call 24/7 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship required License: Active Indiana license preferred Certifications: - Board Certified with Maternal-Fetal Medicine Subspecialty - BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS - Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification Must-Have: Clean background preferred Job Description: - Provide clinic coverage Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM; Closed Friday. - Required weeknight and occasional weekend on-call duties. - Dates needed for 2024: - November 11-13, in-person from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM - December 21-31, in-person from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM - December 27-29, phone coverage accepted - Provide specialized care for both low and high-risk pregnancies. - Perform procedures including Amniocentesis, Fetal Echocardiogram, Specialized Ultrasound, Transvaginal Cerclage, and both Vaginal and Cesarean Birth. - Consult on genetic counseling, birth defects, genetic disorders, pre-eclampsia, multiple pregnancies, growth restrictions, chromosomal and congenital abnormalities, pre-term labor, hypertension, and thrombophilia. - Document patient interactions via Epic EMR system. - Utilize onsite lab and ultrasound equipment including 2 GE Voluson E10, 1 GE Voluson E8, and Twin NST Machine. - Work with a support team comprising a receptionist, one RN, two full-time sonographers, one part-time sonographer, and one genetics specialist. - No responsibility for supervising other healthcare providers. - Exam rooms available: 5 Please note that the estimated credentialing timeframe is 2-3 months, with temporary privileges offered. The facility will reimburse for travel-related costs such as flights, rental cars, mileage, and lodging.
