  • Looking for qualified candidates for nursing positions within MedSurg units.
    • Job Requirements
    • BLS certification required.
      • Schedule Information
      • Nurses will work all 12-hour shifts: 7a-7:30p; 7p-7:30a.
      • CNA's - Only 8's: 6:00am - 2:30pm & 2pm - 10:30pm.
      • Self-scheduling & blocked schedules are allowed as long as the needs of the units are met.
      • Required to work every other weekend - Saturday/Sunday are weekend shifts for both Days or Nights.
      • Required to work 2 Fridays per schedule. Most staff group their Friday with their weekend shifts, working Fri/Sat/Sun.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 1W MedSurg and 2E MedSurg will each have 2 CNA's on Days, but no CNA's on nights.
        • Nurse Aides: Both 1W & 2E will each have 2 CNA's on Days, but no CNA's on nights.
        • The units have different common diagnoses and types of patients.
        • Charge Nurse/House Supervisor roles: Clinical Manager acts as both charge nurse & nurse manager during the day. At night, a resource nurse takes a full patient assignment.
        • Floating is limited to other MedSurg units only.
        • Floor specific orientation lasts for 1 shift with a preceptor.
          • Additional Details
          • All submittals must include an unexpired copy of the candidate's driver's license.
          • The role includes working with both 'clean' & 'dirty' patients, and candidates must be comfortable with this.
