Job Description:

Adecco is currently recruiting for experienced Logistics Operator
for long term temporary opportunity. A technology company that
provides services and builds products to organize information for
people and businesses is seeking Logistics Operator to ensure that
drivers are dispatched to routes and orders are delivered on-time.

Responsibilities for Logistics Operator include but are not limited
to:
Driver assignments
- Use the dispatch IT system to assign routes to drivers based on
capacity, proximity to pick-up location, and other relevant
considerations.
- Provide drivers with guidance on pick up addresses and other
support throughout the day.
On-time delivery
- Oversee delivery routes and ensure that 100% of orders are
delivered on-time. You will provide reports and insight about any
on-time delivery misses.
Identify and recommend process improvements
- Evaluate performance at the end of every day and recommend
process improvements based on your experience.
Logistics Operator candidates must meet the following requirements
for consideration:
- 1+ years of Logistics or Supply Chain experience
- Bachelors Degree Required - Prefer in technical discipline
- Technically Savvy: Proficient with MS Office and knowledge of
MAC
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be available to work between 8am-11pm Monday-Sunday -
schedules will vary depending on business needs.
Pay rate for Logistics Operator starts at $16/hr, plus overtime at
time and a half every week.
