Here's what you will do:

  • Direct experience sentencing MFL (Magnetic Flux Leakage)-A, MFL-C, and EMAT (Electro-Magnetic Acoustic Transducer) ILI (In-Line Inspection) technologies.
  • Direct project management experience leading DA (Direct Assessment) Integrity Assessment Projects.
  • Direct experience representing pipeline integrity with PHMSA (Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration) audits and inspections.
  • Conduct pipeline integrity assessment and analysis for pipeline integrity threat management programs related to the Enbridge GTM (Gas Transmission & Midstream) system, including Corrosion, Crack, Deformation Threat Management and Threat Integration.
  • Conduct and support data analyses supporting of the integrity programs, including analysis of in-line inspection, Direct Assessment, Hydrotesting and Nondestructive Examination (NDE) field results.
  • Support data integration and records management activities (digs, ILI, Quality Assurance/Quality Control) relating to core functions.
  • Lead focus projects related to assigned lines such as pressure restriction removal, audits, failure investigation, engineering assessments, etc.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Lead and review and approve threat programs as assigned.

    Who you are:

    • Must have a bachelor's degree Civil Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or other closely related field.
    • Must have four (4) years of experience as a Pipeline Integrity Engineer.
    • The four (4) years of experience must have included the following: supporting the pipeline integrity program using Inline tool data analysis, field execution of anomaly investigation and repairs; Life Cycle Project management experience with Gas Transmission Pipeline Integrity program plan and execution; applying U.S. and Canadian Regulator codes and standards for pipeline repair and replacement projects; and use of GIS (Geographic Information Systems), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and PAIR (Pipeline Anomaly Investigation & Repair) tools.
    • Domestic travel up to 10% required.

      Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

      Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

      Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
