Job Description:
Sheetz, Inc., a renowned leader in convenience store services,
is seeking a skilled Equipment Service Technician to maintain and
enhance our HVAC systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the
optimal functioning of the facilities at our various locations,
sustaining the comfort and safety standards that our brand is known
for. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing
the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of HVAC
equipment, contributing to our commitment to excellent customer
service and operational efficiency. Perform routine maintenance and
emergency repairs of HVAC systems. Inspect and test HVAC systems
and components to identify hazards, defects, and need for
adjustment or repair. Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation
systems as per specifications. Ensure compliance with appliance
standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act. Advise
management on equipment status and replacement or upgrading needs.
Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies. Respond
quickly to emergency situations involving HVAC equipment. Proven
ability to diagnose and repair HVAC systems. Solid understanding of
commercial HVAC systems including pneumatics, boilers, chillers,
and VRF systems. Adept at using tools of the trade and reading
technical diagrams and specifications. Strong problem-solving
skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and
manage time effectively. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Valid EPA Section 608 Technician Certification
required. Driver's license is necessary.
