Senior Technical Accountant Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid) Are you a public accounting professional ready to make the jump into industry without losing the complexity you enjoy? We're partnering with a fast-growing company to hire a Senior Technical Accountant who will lead the charge on U.S. GAAP compliance, technical research, and accounting policy implementation. Why You'll Love It: Hybrid work schedule (must be commutable to Pittsburgh) High-impact, high-visibility role in a growing organization Work-life balance without sacrificing technical complexity Opportunity to work on M&A, new standards, and cross-functional initiatives What You'll Do: Research and interpret complex accounting issues in accordance with U.S. GAAP Draft and maintain technical accounting memos and documentation Support the implementation of new accounting standards (e.g., ASC 842, ASC 606) Assist with internal controls, SOX compliance, and process enhancements Partner with teams across finance, legal, and operations on transactions and audits Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA required or actively pursuing) 4 years of audit experience in public accounting (Big 4 or large regional firm preferred) Strong technical accounting knowledge with a passion for research and documentation Experience with SEC reporting or working with public clients is a plus Excellent communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset
